Morrison&#8217;s current run on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1401225667?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=shanenevill08-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=1401225667\">Batman and Robin<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=shanenevill08-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=1401225667\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/> is some of the best super hero comics I&#8217;ve ever read (and my earliest memory is reading super hero comics on my Grandma&#8217;s floor 33 years ago).<\/p>\n<p>Morrison&#8217;s work, particularly <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/gp\/product\/1563892677?ie=UTF8&#038;tag=shanenevill08-20&#038;linkCode=as2&#038;camp=1789&#038;creative=9325&#038;creativeASIN=1563892677\">The Invisibles<\/a><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.assoc-amazon.com\/e\/ir?t=shanenevill08-20&#038;l=as2&#038;o=1&#038;a=1563892677\" width=\"1\" height=\"1\" border=\"0\" alt=\"\" style=\"border:none !important; margin:0px !important;\" \/>, has been a persistent source of inspiration for me over the past 15 years.  The Invisibles is a magick spell disguised as an action, conspiracy, horror and counter-culture comic.  <\/p>\n<p>Yes, you read that correctly, a magick spell:<\/p>\n<p><object width=\"400\" height=\"325\"><param name=\"movie\" value=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/x1PLdXEl_6M?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\"><\/param><param name=\"allowFullScreen\" value=\"true\"><\/param><param name=\"allowscriptaccess\" value=\"always\"><\/param><embed src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/v\/x1PLdXEl_6M?fs=1&amp;hl=en_US\" type=\"application\/x-shockwave-flash\" allowscriptaccess=\"always\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" width=\"400\" height=\"325\"><\/embed><\/object><\/p>\n<p>Morrison taught me to look deeper, reminded me to dream and opened my mind to the power and potential of media.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/grantmorrisonmovie.com\/\">Talking with Gods<\/a> is a deeper look into Morrison, his life and his work and to say I&#8217;m looking forward to watching it is an understatement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>With all of the games coming out in October, it might surprise people that the October release I&#8217;m looking forward to the most is a documentary called Talking With Gods.
